Bruno de Carvalho wants a new AG to allow his reinstatement to Sporting's leadership – Observer

The former president of Sporting, Bruno de Carvalho (BdC), used his Facebook page to announce that he was going to promote a collection of signatures for holding an Extraordinary General Assembly. The AGM scheduled by Bruno de Carvalho will take place on August 8, the deadline for submitting candidacies for the presidency of the club.

It is recalled that in the last Sporting AG in June, BdC was removed from the position of chairman of the club's board of directors. Targeted by a disciplinary investigation by the Oversight Committee, the former sports leader is also suspended as a member – which may make it impossible to apply (and Carlos Vieira, former CFO of the BoC ) in the sports elections to be held on September 8th.

The reason for this attempt to call an extraordinary AG by the BDC is precisely to ask the members of the club to authorize the admission

According to the leonin club's statutes, a minimum of 1000 votes is required for the GA to be called. This number does not necessarily correspond to 1000 signatures or 1000 members, since Sporting has several categories of members who, in turn, have a different number of votes.
