Cepsa will install IONITY charging stations in Portugal

Cepsa has just signed a collaboration agreement with IONITY, the European high-performance pricing network formed by BMW Group, Daimler AG, Ford Motor Company and the Volkswagen Group with Audi and Porsche, for the installation of points. with the first charge points that will be operational early next year.

Through this collaboration, IONITY will install up to 100 chargers at Cepsa's gas stations and The fuel brand will be responsible for identifying service stations where charging points can be installed and to provide 100% renewable electricity to these facilities.

With a capacity of 350 kW, the IONITY network can reduce the charging time of electric vehicles compared to current chargers of 50 kW.

Recall that Cepsa currently has a network of about 1800 service stations in the Iberian Peninsula, of which 300 are installed in Portugal.
