Child diagnosed with a bacterium responsible for meningitis

In the pediatric ward of Guarda Hospital, a bacterium causing meningitis was diagnosed in a four-year-old child. The boy was admitted to the pediatric ward at the end of last week and, after confirmation of the diagnosis, the protocol provided for this type of situation.
