Do you have this Ikea dining table? The company asks you to return it

The Swedish chain Ikea recalls the Glivarp Extendable Dining Table, according to information posted on the Swedish chain's website.

"Ikea is asking all customers who have purchased the Glivarp frosted glass Tablestop to stop using it and return it to an Ikea store where they will be fully refunded," informs the company.

The decision to recover this product is the result of customer complaints that the expandable table flap could come off. "Since safety is always a priority, all Ikea products are tested and meet safety standards in all markets where they are sold," says the Swedish channel.

"This collection decision follows information provided to Ikea by customers, who indicate that the Glivarp extendable table top with frosted glass can come off and fall," they explain. Customers who wish more information can contact customer service (800 20 30 20).

This year, it was the fifth product Ikea asked customers to return to their stores.
