If you are a regular user of Firefox, you must upgrade to the latest version available as soon as possible, which will correct the critical vulnerabilities in the Mozilla browser.

Mozilla announced that it has released a new security update for Firefox 67.0.3 and Firefox ESR 60.7.1 to fix an actively exploited critical security vulnerability.

This failure allowed others to take full control of the systems. The US cyber security authorities also alerted about the seriousness of the incident and called for a program upgrade as soon as possible.

The flaw was originally identified by Google Project Zero investigators when handling JavaScript code and its interactions with the browser. Users, by accessing a malicious website via outdated versions of Firefox, could be subjected to malicious code injected into systems for their control.
