FC Porto needed only to score – Sports

FC Porto arrived in 2018/19 with much of last season, not because of a shortage of reinforcements, but more than good Sérgio Conceição could build. Newcastle came to defend, the blues and whites accelerated in the attack, but ran into posts and inefficiency. The draw remained until the end.

A week of the Super Cup, Conceição presented an eleven that could serve as a basis for this meeting. Brahimi and Otávio inside and wings give the team wide – Maxi less than Alex Telles. In the half, Herrera and Sérgio Oliveira had the routines calibrated and worked for Aboubakar to lose the best offer of the first part within 40 minutes.
