Yesterday, a leak on the Exynos version of the Galaxy S10 has arrived on the Internet, which proves to be normal … Before launching a high-end, there are always rumors or leaks about your performance results, this which is interesting the times are 100% real.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 is no exception! After all, it's one of the most anticipated smartphones of all time, especially when Huawei is dominant in the Android market after two major successes in the form of: P20 Pro and Kill 20 Pro.
That being said, after looking at the result itself, a big question should arise in the minds of all smartphone fans … Why will Samsung's new Samsung Samsung reach the latest iPhone?
Samsung Galaxy S10 + against Apple iPhone XS Max: The first results give the advantage to the iPhone!
The reference result of Galaxy S10 + for AnTuTu shows that the next Samsung device will be a high-end device worthy of this title! Easily exceeding the 300,000 mark, so at the top of the table of Android smartphones.
However, it is clear that the Galaxy S10 will sell on the market with two SoC, a version with Exynos 9820 and another with Snapdragon 8150.
Unfortunately, by dividing the offer in this way, things get a bit confusing … The performances are never the same, although Samsung says that they are very similar. And so it seems that the brand will eventually lose some of its interest in the evolution of its Exynos.
Huawei is a good example of concentration! This managed to reach the market with a very powerful 7nn SoC, still in 2018.
In the background, lately, Qualcomm has done nothing innovative in its processors! It continues to take the ARM reference design and builds a bit on the Adreno GPU's ability to reach the top of the performance pyramid.
But perhaps more importantly, Samsung has not been able to demonstrate big performance improvements either … as we've seen with the Exynos 9810! That ended up staying behind Snapdragon 845, which also equipped several versions of the Galaxy S9 and Note 9.
Well, now with the Exynos 9820, Samsung still has a chance to show what he's learned. And so, present a significant improvement in the performance of your new high-end SoC … But things, at least so far, do not seem to indicate evolution.
Thus, the iPhone XS Max, with the Apple A12 bionic SoC, gets about 350,000 points in AnTuTu. In addition, a leak of Snapdragon 8150 shows that in the same test, the new SoC got 362292 points! For now, this is the Qualcomm solution that is coming! With Exynos in third place.
However, the processor has not been released yet! So we have to wait a little before considering all of this as an absolute truth.
In short, if the Samsung Exynos 9820 shows a clear improvement over the old 10nm solution … it does not beat the Apple A12 nor the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150! Which, in essence, seems to demonstrate that after all, Samsung is not as ahead of the competition as it wants to believe.
