The Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL mobile phones are probably the most expected of the second half of 2018. However, there is still no official information on their output and price.
Phone Arena did an analysis of the launch dates of Pixel smartphone prices in recent years to try to anticipate Google's plans, and found a recurring pattern.
Release date of the new generation Pixel
The first Pixel smartphones were announced on October 4, 2016 and were launched the same month on October 20. The second generation of Pixel smartphones was announced on October 4, 2017 and was launched on October 19. So, if Google plans to meet the standard, it's easy to assume that Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will be announced again on October 4 and published on October 18, 2018.
E What are the prices?
Google has maintained similar prices between the first and second generation of Pixel smartphones. Thus, we can assume that the third generation will not flee much at the prices of the first two generations.
If that's the case, let's look at the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL prices. The Pixel 2 version came out with a price of around 550 euros for the 64GB version. Already the Pixel 2 XL version had a price of about 720 euros. Therefore, it will not be impossible for these prices to be repeated for the third generation.
There is a nuance here: in 2018, the prices of high-end mobile phones have increased. For example, the Samsung Galaxy and the iPhone X have even crossed the 1,000-euro mark. We have no reason to think that Google's mobile phones will reach such prices, but it will not be impossible to see a rise in prices.
It is therefore likely that we will know more in October.
