At the Mobile World Congress 2018, which was held in February, Nokia held an event where it announced several new devices. Among them, several smartphones, such as Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco as Finnish devices with Android. In addition, a classic has been relaunched. The Nokia 8110 returns to the repaginated, modern market and keeping one of its strengths, which is the battery life.

The featurephone, as it is the name of the devices in this category, was revealed with the KaiOS operating system, which is a variant of FirefoxOS and had the investment of 22 million Google dollars to bring most of the big apps into the store. The interesting thing is that this system will have WhatsApp, and then many representatives interviewed Nokia if the 8110 would have the optional messenger. The answer was positive.

The messaging application that was only available on operating systems such as Android, iOS and Windows Phone, will now have a version for the 8110 operating system, which has received this confirmation from Juho Sarvikas, Product Director of HMD Global, with the benefit of having a long battery life, which traditional smartphones do not have.

It is not expected that the 8110 will arrive in Brazil, since Nokia itself said that someday would come, but up to here has not made any movement in that direction, letting us wait for news.
