The list includes new features, such as Core i3 with four cores and Core i5 with six. The so-called octa-core i9-9900K and i7-9700K have not been mentioned. Check below:
- Core i5-9600K : hexa-core; 6-wire clock from 3.7 GHz to 4.5 GHz
- Core i5-9600 : hexa-core; 6-wire clock from 3.1 GHz to 4.5 GHz
- Core i5-9500 : hexagonal core; 6-wire clock from 3.0 GHz to 4.3 GHz
- Core i5-9400T : hexagonal core; 6-wire clock from 1.8 GHz to 3.4 GHz
- Core i5-9400 : hexa-core; 6-wire clock from 2.9GHz to 4.1GHz
- Core i3-9100 : quad-core; 4-wire Clock 3.7 GHz
- Core i3-9000 : quad-core; 4-wire clock 3.7 GHz
The configurations of the next processors reject the closure of quad-core models, as some rumors have said. The upgrade will add some of the features of the processors designed for the Coffee Lake-H laptops such as the 802.11b Wi-Fi and the support of up to six 3-port Thunderbolt, however, motherboard manufacturers will have to include the necessary technologies in their future releases to support the potential of these processors.
With current Intel information, the possibility of a Cannon Lake architecture reaching consumers
It should be noted that there is no specific date yet for the arrival of models in the computer market. Rumors indicate that they could arrive in 2018, but there is no guarantee.
Intel will always reveal new details on other versions of its chips, such as Core i7.
