Katy Perry has used the account she's on Instagram to mourn the passing of Angelica Cob-Baehler, a music producer who has played a major role in the artist's career.

In social networks, the singer paid tribute to the great friend who, at age 47, lost the battle against cancer.

"She was one of the strongest women I've ever met," said Katy in the caption photos.

"We've had a lot of victories together for more than a decade," she said, referring to her support for her great friend in her music career.

"I do not think people are dying, they just had to leave their bodies behind," he said.

In the same publication, Perry also spoke to Angelica's daughters: "Unfortunately, she also left two incredible girls and an incredible husband."

Before ending the publication, the artist left a call to his followers. "We will honor her by making a donation to Generosity.org, maybe she left this place, but she will never be forgotten," he said.
