News in brief – Banco de Portugal strengthens its business with FinTech

Banco de Portugal met with FinTech operators to discuss the opportunities and challenges raised by the new Payment Services Directive (PSD2), which is being transposed into national law. This, after the supervisor announced in May, the creation of a chain dedicated to FinTech.

The meeting is part of the plan of action defined by the Bank of Portugal regarding technological innovation in the financial sector, according to
