It would not be the first time Bethesda has paid homage to this style.
It would not be the first time Bethesda has paid homage to this style.
Seven years have passed since the release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and the community now wants to see an 82-year-old fan who often plays the game, included in the next title. According to Eurogamer, a Reddit user, phantom-scribbler, has launched a campaign for Bethesda to create a version of YouTuber and skyrim fan Shirley Curry in The Elder Scrolls 6.
The petition was inspired by a macabre commentary by Curry, who had responded to the comment from the vice president of public relations and the marketing company, suggesting that the next game of the franchise was still far from published.
"Well, I think that's my coffin, literally!" Writes Curry in a comment that has received thousands of tanned. "When Skyrim 6 comes out, I'm going to be 88. So I probably can not play it, so I'm going to stop dreaming about the game!"
Seeing this, phantom-scribbler remembered another super fan of Elder Scrolls, Erik "Immok the Slayer" West, who died of cancer several months before the launch of Skyrim. Bethesda responded by immortalizing him in the game under the name of Erik the Killer. Now, the ghost-scribbler wants Shirley to receive similar treatment, and he's not alone: more than 10,000 people have signed the petition.
"It would be great to meet an old Breton who just wants to get in the way and ask you to join him?", He explains. "She is a widow twice, she has four children and nine grandchildren, she calls the grandchildren of her disciples." So maybe she has a sword that both husbands used before dying. She calls it "Widowmaker." She then uses it, dons an armor and says: "Come on, grandson / granddaughter!", And you come out to hit everyone who comes to you. "
The publication led another, highlighting a Curry-to-Skyrim mod made by the community. In the article, Phantom-Scribbler claims to have contacted Curry, who apparently would have allowed him to use the tricks and audio of his YouTube videos.

Of course, the next step was to create the petition. However, Bethesda does not seem to have created an answer to the demands of the community.
The company has presented a teaser of The Elder Scrolls 6 during the E3 2018. It is believed that the game will be marketed for the next generation of consoles, which is expected to arrive in 2020.
