How a linguist comes into the world of technology
I got my degree in literature, linguistics and literature, but I went through the scientific branch. During the year that I graduated, I had the opportunity to obtain a scholarship for the Faculty of Engineering of the University. of Porto (FEUP), at a time when they had received a project funded by the European Union. . I was the only candidate they had because no one on my course dared to go on a fellowship at a college completely different from their field of work. That's how I started my engineering career, where I just got my PhD.
