A breakdown in one of the trains of the green line of the Lisbon metro has resulted in the interruption of the line. Traffic resumed at 9:20, according to Lisbon Metro information.

"The traffic on the green line has been disrupted since 7:45 because of the train failure," the metro source told the observer. More specifically, "traffic between Alameda and Alvalade stations has been interrupted since 8:32".

A passenger from Alameda station confirmed that traffic between Cais do Sodré and Alameda was maintained, but that passengers wishing to follow Alameda towards Telheiras were advised to leave the metro because there was no scheduled time to resume the traffic.

For the observer, the Lisbon metro has presented no alternative for the circulation of these passengers.

Already this Monday, the smoke and the smell of burning had resulted in the interruption of the same line.

Updated with metro information and traffic CV's.
