Snapchat wins a unique menu with thousands of lenses created by the user

Snapchat announced today (10) the launch of Lens Explorer, a menu where all the filters (or Lenses, as they are called these resources) are collected by members of the global social networking community. The new feature complements Lens Studio, which was released late last year for the creation of exclusive filters and already has over 100,000 options.

Now a new icon in the form of a happy face appears on the Snapchat Carousel Goals, and just touch it to access Lens Explorer. To use a goal, simply select one of the options that are displayed (by doing this, you are directly directed to the camera) or browse the stories presented. In this case, simply drag the screen to use the same lens present in the snap seen at this time.

Lens Explorer Lens Explorer was announced today (10) and includes all the filters created by the community.

The initiative is presented by Snapchat as an incentive to content producers in their community and joined the official program of Lens Creators and Lens Studio Challenges. The new feature is also an enhancement to enhance the augmented reality features of the platform.

Lens Explorer is initially available only for iOS. The social network ensures that "the features will continue in a constant process of evolution to be more personal and easy to use," without however mentioning when it will also be extended to Android users.
