In a press release, the National Union of Motorists (SNM) on Tuesday sent a response regarding the proposed salary increases sent to it by Horários dos Funchal (HF).
1 – It is true that the FH sent by e-mail to SNM yesterday (17 June) a negotiation proposal, which has since been refused by SNM because it is obviously lacking.
2 – The fact remains that the FH are well aware of the position of the MNS and the workers it represents with regard to salary updates, insofar as this knowledge has been transmitted personally. and informally to Exmo. Mr. President of the HF.
3 – The MNS has decided not to formalize its proposal so as not to provoke extremism of the parties who could possibly investigate this process to the detriment of those who work.
4 – The SMN has always honored its word and its position has been based on respect, as it is of its nature. It is this position that led to the signing of the first company agreement concerning the existence of HF.
5 – SNM is not surprised that the FH are now making public comments on the current negotiation process, whereas in the previous procedure they themselves asked not to publish / reproduce the documents that were part of this negotiation for security reasons. in good faith, and come now, in the absence of their own position, to do exactly the opposite of what has been recently proclaimed. Does the above-mentioned good faith have an expiry date? Or is it the specter of the strike that preoccupies you already?
6 – The FF are well aware and could well have supposed that the one who built, presented and negotiated the Agreement so called as historical was the SNM. Such an omission will certainly be a failure.
7 – SNM will continue to excel in the uncompromising defense of workers in general and their associates in particular. For this, the SNM does not have to threaten anyone with strikes or any other action that the workers understand for good.
8 – The NEM is and will remain available for constructive dialogue that could result in an agreement, but will never allow anyone to say one thing today and make another tomorrow.
9 – The FH, in the way they build their rhetoric, implies that they only negotiate with another Union and that only the Union is available to do so in a peaceful manner and "by putting emphasis on constructive dialogue ". . "Always in defense of all the employees who make up the company Horários do Funchal".
10 – The MNS hopes that the defense of all the employees that the FH claim to want to defend is a reality and that this reality is reflected in the wage updates that their workers want to have.
SNM is solely responsible for fulfilling its commitments and hopes that with the support of its employees, it will be able to reach an understanding platform leading to an agreement.
