The Solverde Group, which has five casinos and another online, will invest approximately 1.5 million euros in the revival of the virtual project after the opening of the online casino in September of last year. . To do this, and in addition to promotional actions, the band has a new online game: Black Jack, considered one of the most coveted by players who opt for the virtual game.

Nuno Vasconcelos, the group's marketing director, said that at that time, the Solverde casino would have about 100,000 registered players – for incomes that will only be known at the end of the year. year – which is considered a very positive indicator. It should be recalled that legal online casinos suffer from competition from sites beyond the control of the regulatory (and tax) entity, which leads legal operators to claim positive discrimination in the context of model of online gambling taxation which is in preparation.

Whatever it is, according to Nuno Vasconcelos, there is no minimum ceiling that the group wants to achieve with this promotional action, in terms of the number of registrations.

The group responds by the Espinho, Chaves, Roca Beach, Vilamoura and Montegordo casinos. At the end of the first half, the Espinho casino recorded a 9.1% growth in its turnover to reach 24.1 million euros. The three casinos in the Algarve generated sales of € 15.5 million (14.2% more than in the same period last year). At the same time, the Chaves casino has recorded a 6% drop, to 3.4 million euros – well at the expense of "competition" from broadcasting games all over Spain.

To change this trend, Solverde executives are trying to implement new customer acquisition programs by combining the casino and the hotel where the gambling halls are located.

It should be noted that the 11 physical casinos operating in the country recorded gross gaming revenue exceeding 152 million euros during the first six months of the year, an increase of 3.8% compared to the same period in 2017.
