A few hours before the start of the Los Angeles Show, manufacturers are starting to reveal their news. Audi is part of it and has just increased the images of the e-tron GT electric sedan that will be its biggest attraction for the event. However, the brand still has not said anything about the mechanics, the autonomy or the release date.
Audi has released several images of the electric sedan, but all show the camouflaged GT e-tron, much like the automaker with the e-tron SUV, unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March and which keep appearing hide their lines – as on the stand of the car show of São Paulo. However, as the crossover vehicle is the company's first electric car and it's already available for order, knowledge of the sedan should not be long.
This sedan will look more like a four-door coupe, like the Audi A5 Sportback or A7 Sportback, with a slender profile and a sloping roofline. As this is an electric car, the grille will be closed considering the need to not ventilate the engine.
The only items revealed without camouflage are headlights and lanterns. The front optical block is so similar to the A7 that if we did not know it was the GT e-tron, it would have even been adopted by another model. The rear lights are quite different, inspired by the SUV e-tron, with a line through the trunk lid. It brings a bit of sportiness, with air passages in the front bumper and a diffuser.
The official presentation will take place on November 28th.
