"The experience has forced us to improve even more," said Alexandre Fonseca, who also revealed that Altice Portugal had invested about 30 million euros to restore the communications infrastructure in the 50 affected municipalities.

The "combination of vacation teams with the highest probability of fire in certain areas" is another measure taken in terms of human resources, he said.
