The Grândola prison guard puts an end to life

The situation was detected by another prison guard when he went to surrender. It will have been committed in one of the prison watch towers with the use of the service weapon. The authorities, including the audit and inspection service of the Directorate General of Reintegration and Prison Services (DGRSP), have already opened an investigation into this event.

The victim was always assisted by members of Grândola's illegal prison and INEM was also summoned to the scene and later declared death. In view of the situation, the GNR of Comporta was launched and the judicial police were also informed of the situation.
