The Lisbon Municipal Assembly approved the sale of two lots and two plots of land for construction as part of the redevelopment operation of the Entrecampos area.
The proposal was approved with the votes in favor of the PS, PSD and independent deputies (elected in the socialist lists), the abstention of the PCP, BE and EPI and the votes against CDS-PP, MPT, PAN and PPM.
The Lisbon City Council on Thursday approved the transfer, as part of the Entrecampos integrated operation, of two parcels of land and two lots, with a total value of 188.4 million. 39; euros.
The document approved on Thursday, to which Lusa agency had access, indicates that both lots are located on the grounds of the former Popular Fair, as well as one of the parcels, which is intended "for the construction of a public underground parking and infrastructure to support urban logistics na." The other part is located on Avenida Álvaro Pais and will be used for services .
The values for each plot range from 27.9 million euros to 67.1 million, and it will be up to the executive to "determine the best time for the completion of each of these public spaces" and if they will be realized at the same time or separately, we read in the proposal signed by the councilor of urban planning, Manuel Salgado
The proposal stipulates that "they are strictly defined for all the plots the conditions of construction affecting them And that the extraordinary revenues from the sale of the land will "enhance the municipality's investment capacity to fulfill its obligations" in this project, construction of 700 affordable fires.
