The second phase of vaccination against FMD ends this Friday, November 30 in almost the entire state of Mato Grosso. About 13.6 million cattle and buffaloes younger than 24 months of age should be vaccinated during this stage.

The fine for those who fail to vaccinate the herd during the campaign is 1 unit UPF (standard fiscal unit) per head of non-vaccinated cattle. Producers who delay communication may not publish the Animal Transit Guide (ATG) for a minimum of 30 days.
