The main index of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, the Nikkei, lost today 0.87 points, without recording any percentage change, to quote the 22 596.48 points, in the first transactions of the day.
The second indicator, the Topix, which groups together the values of the first section, followed the same trend, decreasing by 0.24% to 1,734.24 points.
The Nikkei index reflects the unweighted average of 225 Tokyo stock market stocks, while the Topix indicator groups together the values of the 1,600 largest listed companies.
