In the first half of 2018, 46% of Toyota and Lexus sales in Europe were based on hybrid technology models. Toyota Motor Europe (TME) sold a total of 560,000 Toyota and Lexus vehicles in the first six months of 2018, an increase of 6% over the same period in 2016. Of this total, the sale of Toyota and Lexus with hybrid technology saw an increase of 23%, with a total of 257,000 units sold in Europe from January to June. That is, hybrid vehicles account for 46% of TME's total sales.
