The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi introduced in May the Mi 8 Explorer Edition, a smartphone that stands out with a transparent background that allows to see the internal components of the device.
By the time the device was announced, the user Chengming Alpert questioned Xiaomi's claim that the phone would have a transparent back. The boy said that positioning the Snapdragon 845 chip would not be possible inside the device, suggesting that it was an adhesive.
He later suggested that it could be a piece of decorative interior plastic, but could not be the actual internal components of the device, according to the site Web The Verge.

Alpert has now obtained a new image that shows a supposed motherboard of the Mi 8 Explorer Edition, which reinforces his theory that the camera Xiaomi
If the motherboard unveiled by Alpert is real, it is very different from that displayed on the transparent back of the images of the Mi 8 Explorer Edition. Thus, the visible components would be more cosmetic, not chips actually used by the cell phone.
