According to PWInsider, Sasha Banks will return to WWE TV in the July 30 episode of Smack down of Minneapolis.
Banks hasn’t wrestled since losing the SmackDown Women’s Title to Bianca Belair in the Main Event on Night One of WrestlingMania 37. She appeared in a brief behind-the-scenes interview on the fallout show the following Friday (April 16), but hasn’t worked on a show since.
Target Center, the venue for tonight’s show, lists Banks as facing Belair in the map on their website. She is not among the “Featured Superstars” on the WWE.com tickets page. For a while, WWE had listed Sasha as one of the wrestlers who would work out their first road dates on Money in the bank weekend, but “map subject to change” turned out to be the case there.
Some fans have speculated that she may be filming Disney + Star Wars shows, reprising her role as Koska Reeves in the upcoming season of The Mandalorian or any of its fallout, this has never been confirmed.
Whatever she does, it looks like she’ll be joining a growing female division of SmackDown very soon.
