Postman convicted of stealing consoles from mail

Federal prosecutors said Wednesday that a supervisor of the U.S. Postal Service had been convicted in a case involving consoles stolen from the mail in the spring.

Zoheb A. Deura, 34, of Derby, Connecticut, was fined $ 20,000 and three years probation, the first nine months of which are to be held at home. He pleaded guilty in October to the theft, between February and April 2020, of numerous packages, including those containing “PlayStation and Nintendo gaming devices”, as well as an iPhone and an Apple computer.
