WARREN – A 30-year-old man is charged after police charged him with attempting to break into homes in 1400 block North Park Avenue and 100 block Hall Street Thursday afternoon.
Frank J. Tursack of East Avenue SE faces two counts of burglary and a break and enter charge in Warren City Court, where arraignment is scheduled for Monday.
A woman told police a man attempted to enter her home after breaking into a back garage attic, according to the police report. Officers found footprints on a back door where the burglar attempted to break it in but was unable to enter.
Police subsequently apprehended a man matching the description of the burglar walking along Hall Street. An officer said he saw the man attempting to kick the back door of a house on Hall Street. An officer pointed a Taser at the man as an officer grabbed him as he tried to walk away. Tursack remains in Trumbull County Jail, according to records.
