Jason Bischoff, the former director of global consumer products at Saban Brands, revealed a pitch and concept art for a “Power Rangers game that was never” called Project Nomad – an AAA open-world co-op game that was more or less a Batman: Arkham Rangers style game.

Bischoff shared this pitch on Twitter for a game that would capture “the energy, teamwork and history of the [Power Rangers] franchise through a new lens. In Bischoff’s own words, it was “essentially the Rangers of ‘Arkham’ … or Gotham Knights 5 years before GK’s announcement. ”

Unfortunately, this project never saw the light of day.

“Unfortunately,” Bischoff wrote. “With so much going around the studio at the time, there was no bandwidth or budget to put up with. What I did have, however, was an invaluable ‘blessing’ to explore independently. . and explore I did! “

He then shared some concept illustrations of what this game would aim to look like, created by “old friends” including Lineage, Carlos Dattoli, Jarold Sng, and many more.

While early discussions with developers and publishers were “favorable,” Bischoff said that “in the end the time + big changes in our business saw the conversations around the Nomad project come to a halt. These things totally happen! The industry is built on “what could have been. “”

While we may never see this particular version of the Power Rangers, Bischoff gave us a glimpse into this art of the game, as well as his “Kick Setup: Eltar, Under Occupation, Released by Myriad Rangers.” from all over the cosmos. ”

Bischoff said there was “a lot more to share another time,” but that’s all we get for now.
