The Powerball lottery jackpot for the Wednesday night draw jumped to $ 322 million, making it the 39th largest jackpot in the history of the US lottery.
The cash option for the 22:59 lottery draw was worth $ 196.1 million.
Saturday's winning numbers were: 21, 31, 42, 49, 59. Powerball: 23. Power play: 5x
Seventeen random draws twice a week have taken place since the last jackpot win in December. David Johnson, a 56-year-old supermarket worker living in Brooklyn, NY, hit the $ 298.3-million jackpot on Dec. 26. He opted for the cash option worth $ 180,227,550 and received $ 114,091,248 after tax deduction.
Nobody across the county has hit Saturday's $ 304 million jackpot. There was also no second prize winner of a million dollars.
In New Jersey, four tickets sold corresponded to four issues plus the Powerball and were worth $ 50,000 each.
They were purchased at the following locations:
- ShopRite Wines & Spirits from Englewood on Nathaniel Place in Englewood
- Mueller Star Liquor on Clinton Avenue in Irvington
- Greentree Food Management on Parkway Avenue in Ewing
- US No.1 Discount Liquors on Edgar Road in Elizabeth
The probabilities that a ticket corresponds to four numbers and the Powerball are 913 to 129 to 1.
Saturday's winning numbers were: 4, 6, 14, 20 and 32. The drawn Powerball was 13 and the power play was 2X.
