Powerball: Winning ticket for a million dollar prize sold to Sanford Food Lion

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) – A $ 1 million Powerball winning ticket was sold in a Harnett County grocery store, according to officials at the NC lottery.

The lucky ticket was sold to the Food Lion on Buffalo Lake Road in Sanford.

The numbers on the five white balls were 2-29-41-45-62.

According to officials, the winner has 180 days from the draw to claim his prize.

The $ 1 million prize was one of two national awards won in the Saturday draw. Nobody winning the jackpot, the amount climbs to 181 million dollars before the draw of Wednesday.

Information previously provided by the NC Lottery originally indicated that the note had been sold in Lee County – but the authorities now claim that the note was sold in Harnett County
