Powerpuff Girls live reboot receives pilot order on The CW with 4400 reboot
The CW is offering fans some blasts from the past, ordering a live-action reboot of The Powerpuff Girls and a remake of The 4400.
The network has issued a pilot order for the Powerpuff Girls live reboot and a serial direct order for the remake of The 4400, according to Variety.
The network also issued two other pilot commissions, the DC Project Naomi by Ava DuVernay and Jill Blankenship and an untitled religious drama by Claire Rothrock and Ryann Weir.

The show will be based on the animated series created by Craig McCracken, which aired for six seasons and 78 episodes between 1998 and 2005.
