Prequel with Starks, Direwolves and 100 Kingdoms (but not Lannister)

In a recent interview with EW, George RR Martin revealed the details of the pre-edition of Game of Thrones.Rumored called The Long Night or The Longest Night, the fallout will be in a Westeros different from the one at which fans are used to it. composed of 100 kingdoms opposed to seven in Game of Thrones.

"We are talking about the seven kingdoms of Westeros, there were seven kingdoms at the time of the conquest of Aegon," Martin said. "But if you go back further, there are nine kingdoms and 12 kingdoms, and you finally come back where there are a hundred kingdoms – little kingdoms – and that's when we're talking about here."

Martin has confirmed that the Starks and Somelwolves will feature in the pre-sequence, as well as the White Walkers: "The Starks will definitely be here, obviously the White Walkers are here – or as they are called in my books, The Others – and that will be an aspect, "said Martin. "There are things like werewolves and mammoths."

The Lannisters are a family that will not be part of the suite because the timeline is older than the family – but Martin hinted that viewers could potentially see their origin.

"The Lannisters are not here yet, but Castlery Rock is certainly there, it's like the Rock of Gibraltar, it's actually occupied by the Casterlys – for which it still bears the name of Game of Thrones Day." said Martin.

Martin explained that the Casterly had apparently been deceived by Lann the Clever – the person who had founded House Lannister – without, however, confirming that the plot would be included in the previous one.
