President Trump should forgive himself for shutting down ‘radical left’, said Florida congressman

PENSACOLA, Florida – Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz said President Donald Trump should forgive himself and others in his administration before stepping down to prevent the “radical left” from suing them.

The Panhandle Republican and close Trump ally said on Fox News on Tuesday that the president should protect his staff from what he believes are unfair lawsuits.

Some Democrats have called on the new Biden administration to investigate Trump and other members of his administration for possible crimes during their tenure and before.

Gaetz said, “The radical left (has) a thirst for blood that will only be quenched if it comes after” Trump and his aides.
