“Misunderstood” either.
Just over a year after making her debut with her polarizing tattoo under her eyes, Presley Gerber appears to be turning around.
Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber’s 22-year-old son stepped out in Malibu on Monday with only faint traces of the ‘misunderstood’ tattoo on his right cheek, suggesting he had it removed.
Gerber championed the polarizing design – which was done by famous tattoo artist JonBoy – last February.
“If I thought this was going to ruin my face or didn’t want it, I wouldn’t have done it,” he said on Instagram Live.
“That said misunderstood because that’s what I’ve felt my whole life,” Gerber added at the time. “F — k you if you don’t like it.”
He doubled up on the defense the following month, sharing an Instagram story that read, “Most and a lot of people can get facelifts, sex changes, lip injections, etc.” getting face tattooed and now people who love me hate me .. Hmmmm? [sic]. “
Gerber has several other tattoos on her fingers, neck and arms, including a marijuana leaf on her hand and her sister Kaia’s name inked in cursive on the back of her arm.
In April 2020, he also added the number “310” to his chest – in honor of his family’s Malibu area code – as well as a handgun to the front of his right hip, which was placed to resemble a partially concealed weapon.
Gerber is just one of the many celebrities who have recently opted for laser tattoo removal. Pete Davidson – who, incidentally, briefly dated Kaia in late 2019 – has announced that he plans to remove all of his ink.
