The trip to Prince Harry’s house did little to mend family ties with his father and brother, with one royal observer claiming Prince Charles was ‘still furious’ over his son’s big interview with Oprah Winfrey.
“Charles is still mad at Harry for casting a shadow over him and the royals in the big interview and won’t let him down,” an insider reportedly told US Weekly’s Christina Garibaldi.
Harry was in the UK last month to attend the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip, but he and Charles “barely communicated,” Garibaldi says.
Sources told the reporter that the father and son did not “resolve their differences” upon his return and that the two men “barely communicated” with each other.
The fallout from the confrontation between Harry, Oprah and Meghan Markle convinced Charles “firmly that his son does not deserve the privilege of being royal,” sources told Garibaldi, according to The UK Sun.
