Prince george is like any other Englishman in the world right now – cheering on his national team in the 2020 UEFA final … and freaking out when they score early.
The 7-year-old son of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge was neck and neck on Sunday at Wembley Stadium in London … where England faced Italy for the final game of the tournament, in which all European national teams competed for gold.
Her pop, Prince William, was seen showing her boy the ins and outs of the game… at one point, crouching down to Georgie’s level and showing what was happening on the field below.

George seemed attentive enough throughout – but when England scored first in the opening minutes of the game … and he and his old man celebrated together which made for a great (and viral) moment that most Britons have noticed with joy.
So, yeah … the kid is a huge fan of the game. And, while he probably has his parents (and all the national heritage) to thank for it … some also give his grand- father, the late Prince Philippe – who was a HUGE sports fan, especially English football.
The Duke of Edinburgh, who passed away earlier this year at the age of 99 – visited Wembley himself at the time … and actually greeted the England national team in person, shaking hands with players on the pitch and having a blast without no doubt too.
Some joke that Prince George may well be Prince Philip reincarnated – and judging by his excitement right now, they might be right.

Sweet moment for the royal family. BTW it’s 1-1 now – Italy has equalized, and there are just a few minutes left in regulation. Don’t give up on George, Team England !!!
