Prince Harry and Prince William plan to stand “side by side” at a memorial they commissioned for their mother, Princess Diana, this summer – despite tensions between the brothers sparked by the royal race scandal, was revealed on Friday.
“I can exclusively reveal that William has always been committed, just like Harry, to meeting on July 1 for the unveiling of the Princess Diana statue at Kensington Gardens,” said Russell Myers, a family expert British royal, in the British morning. “Loraine” broadcast on Friday.

Asked about the claim – which included that a member of the royal family was concerned about the couple’s baby being “dark” – William retorted Wednesday that “we really are not a racist family.”
In a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey on Sunday, Prince Harry said he faced racist comments after he started dating Markle and his father Prince Charles stopped taking his calls. He also clarified that he and Prince William were on “different paths”.

But despite spitting out from the royal family, Prince Harry has vowed to return to the UK from California this summer for the planned unveiling of a memorial statue he helped commission for his mother.
The statue was commissioned by The Duke of Cambridge and The Duke of Sussex in honor of the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death.
