The Duke of Sussex joined the Queen and members of the Royal Family at Windsor Castle for the traditional Easter Sunday service.

Prince Harry, who now lives in the compound of Windsor Castle, attended the ceremony without his wife, the Duchess of Sussex, who must give birth every day.

The Duke arrived at the church alongside his cousin, Zara Tindall, and her husband, Mike.

While each member of the Royal Family was queuing outside the castle to await the arrival of the Queen, Harry stood between Zara Tindall and Autumn Phillips, before exchanging words with the Duchess of Cambridge.

This year's Easter festivities are especially special, as Her Majesty is also celebrating her 93rd birthday.

Dressed in her coat and teal, the 93-year-old monarch greeted her family members outside the church before returning home for the start of the service.

The Royal Princess and Sir Tim Laurence were among the first members of the royal family to visit the church. They were followed by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Count and Countess of Wessex, and the Duke of York and Princess Beatrice.

Celebrations will be held across the country over the next two days to mark the Queen's 93rd birthday.

At Buckingham Palace, the Irish Guard Group will perform the happy birthday at the Changing of the Guard Ceremony.

Canon greetings never occur on a Sunday. As such, the mark of respect has been pushed back one day.

On Monday, the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery will host a 41-man royal salute at midday at Hyde Park.

The Honorable Artillery Company will also return a salute of 62 guns to the Tower of London at 1 pm
