Prince Harry got it wrong for a Normie Christmas tree worker

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle kicked off their first Christmas as former royals this week by picking up a Christmas tree for their Santa Barbara mansion.

During their trip to a tree barn, the couple remained mostly incognito, and were only approached once: when a little boy ran over to Harry thinking he was working there. “There was a family in there, and their delighted grandson ran through the trees to Harry and asked him if he was working here, not knowing who it was,” one employee said. People. There is no word on how Harry responded, but given his infamous desire to live some sort of normal life, he was probably elated.

Typically at this time of year, Meghan and Harry would be required to travel to Sandringham House with the rest of the Royal Family. (The annual party was canceled due to COVID-19.) There they attended several church services and, if we believe The crown, can engage in blood sports and drinking games. They would also be weighed before and after lunch, a bizarre royal tradition, and would exchange “naughty” gifts like white leather toilet seats and shower caps with rude words on them. Looks like Harry and Meghan are planning something a lot more low-key.
