The Royal Family does its part to promote mental health awareness.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince William and Kate Middleton Unite to launch Shout, a new SMS support service that supports people in crisis in the UK. The Royal Foundation has piloted the innovative and much needed program for Royal Hignesses' Heads Together Campaign, which encourages conversations about mental health. "We are extremely excited to be launching this service, knowing that it could potentially reach thousands of vulnerable people every day," said the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as well as those of the Duke and of the Duchess of Sussex. "At the heart of this service will be an incredible national volunteer community, which must grow to enable us to support more people in crisis.We hope many of you will join us and be part of something very special."

The telephone support service is almost entirely provided by a team of dedicated volunteers working in collaboration with qualified clinicians.

This is just one of the many projects the Royal Family is involved in promoting mental health awareness. In April, Meghan and Harry shared, via their Instagram account, the announcement of the creation of a television series on mental health for Apple. Oprah Winfreyand the Duke of Sussex are the executive producers of the series and expect an exit date in 2020.
