Prince Harry and Prince William are on the verge of mending their sibling relationship.
A source told Us Weekly on Wednesday that the British Royal Family had made progress in healing their alleged fracture, but still had a long way to go.
“The fallout from William and Harry was very real, very ugly and incredibly intense,” the insider said at the point of sale. “They were at an impasse, there was so much mud under the bridge and many people felt their feud was beyond repair.”
Harry, 36, confirmed that he and his older brother, 38, were “on different paths” in 2019. Things reportedly escalated when Harry and his wife Meghan Markle announced in early 2020 that they were taking “a step back ”as senior members of the British Royal Family.

“It has certainly been a roller coaster for everyone involved, especially the brothers, who are now vowing to let things get out of hand in the future and have learned a lot from this difficult experience,” the source explained.
The insider also insisted there had been “a lot of celebrating” from the family, especially their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, as they worked on reconciliation.
“[William and Harry] are looking forward to spending time together in person once it is safe to travel, ”the source said, adding that they would likely meet in England.

Rumors of an alleged royal feud surfaced in 2019, when British bestselling author Katie Nicholl claimed that since Markle, 39, and Harry announced their engagement in 2017, William became increasingly concerned about his brother and his whirlwind romance with the American actress.
“William was very concerned that the relationship had evolved so quickly,” Nicholl said in the TLC documentary “Kate V. Meghan: Princesses at War?” “And being close to Harry, you know, probably the only person close enough to say to Harry, ‘This seems to be going fast. Are you sure?’ And I think what was supposed to be well-meaning brotherly advice just annoyed Harry. “

Lacey said that although William and Harry “do talk on the phone every now and then,” their relationship will take some time to heal.
“I think it would always have happened that Meghan and Harry lived on the other side of the world,” he explained. “I think Meghan and Harry will remain based in North America. Unless the brethren can find a way to reconcile, they will have to separate and respect each other.
“We know that in July 2021, the two brothers pledged to be in Kensington Gardens for the unveiling of the statue dedicated to their late mother, Princess Diana,” he said. “The world will judge then. But there is a lot of work to be done.”
