The children of Kate Middleton and Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, were among many in the UK who participated in the ‘viral applause for UK National Health Service videos’ paying tribute to NHS workers treating coronavirus victims. βTo all the doctors, nurses, caregivers, GPs, pharmacists, volunteers and other NHS staff working tirelessly to help those affected by # COVID19: thank you,β the video commented on Instagram from Kensington Palace. “#ClapForOurCarers #ClapForCarers #ThankYouNHS #ClapForNHS”
But fans couldn’t help but notice a curious detail about Charlotte and Louis’ outfits: their parents had worn exactly the same things before.
Charlotte, in her striped top and jeans, was dressed like her mom Kate at the Gigaset Charity Polo Match in July 2015.
Louis, in his low patterned navy blue sweater, looked like William when he and Kate announced they were expecting their first child, Prince George in December 2012.
It’s not often that Kate and William give personal glimpses of their children, but it’s the second time in the past week that they’ve shared new photos of themselves. On Mother’s Day, Kensington Palace Instagram posted a new photo of Kate and William with George and Charlotte in Norfolk for Mother’s Day in the UK. The post also included a photo of the card George gave Kate this year.
“To new and old mothers and families who are spending today together and apart – we are thinking of all of you at this difficult time,” said the Kensington Palace team. “Happy Mother’s Day π·”
