It’s been officially a year since Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi said “yes”.

To commemorate the special occasion, Mozzi took to Instagram on Saturday and shared a heartfelt selfie of the two.

“I can’t believe it’s been 1 year,” the 38-year-old wrote. “Every second of every day has been so full of joy, happiness, laughter and love. You are the nicest, most beautiful and most beautiful person in the world. Thank you my dear for every second.”

This year is particularly exciting for the couple. In May, Buckingham Palace announced that Beatrice, 32, was expecting a baby.

The palace said Queen Elizabeth II’s granddaughter and her husband are due to have their first child in the fall.

“Both families are delighted with the news,” a palace spokesperson said.

Beatrice, the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, married the real estate developer in July 2020 in a small ceremony constrained by coronavirus restrictions.

Beatrice’s younger sister, Princess Eugenie, and her husband Jack Brooksbank welcomed their first child, a son named August, in February.

Beatrice and Mozzi’s wedding marked the first time a member of the British Royal Family has served as stepmother since Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, married Prince Charles in 2005.

Beatrice is co-parenting Mozzi’s son Christopher Woolf or “Wolfie” from a previous relationship with American architect and designer Dara Huang, People magazine reported. According to the media, Beatrice is the first of her generation and the first granddaughter of the monarch to do so.
