Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are moving into Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s home in the UK, according to reports.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved from their UK home in early 2020. While Frogmore Cottage still remains their private residence abroad, sources confirmed to People magazine that Meghan and Harry graciously extended ownership to Eugenie who is expecting her first child.
“Frogmore Cottage continues to be the home of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the UK,” a source told People, “and they are delighted to be able to open their home to Princess Eugenie and Jack as they start their own families. “
The Sun was the first to report the arrangement, citing a source who said “moving vans” had been spotted in the middle of the night to clear Harry and Meghan’s house.

The news comes on the heels of Harry and Meghan’s departure from the UK, where Harry was raised. The married couple announced in January their intention to step down as senior members of the royal family.
Meghan and Harry then moved temporarily to Vancouver, Canada, before settling in California. The couple are said to have initially stayed at Tyler Perry’s multi-million dollar mansion in Los Angeles, the hometown of the former “Suits” actress. The couple then bought a house in Santa Barbara, where they currently reside with their son Archie.
Eugenie, 30, announced in September that she and Brooksbank are expecting their first child. She shared the happy news on Instagram with an adorable photo of a pair of fuzzy plush baby shoes.

The couple got married on October 12, 2018 at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, near London, the same location where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were married months before.
