Priscilla Presley sold her longtime mansion in Beverly Hills for $ 13 million, three million less than her original asking price.

The lavish Spanish-style “ shrine ” has suffered several price drops since Priscilla listed it this summer for $ 15.995 million.

Just four months after it went on the market, Priscilla offloaded the property for $ 13 million last week, Page Six reported Thursday.

Built in 1951, the Hilton Hyland-listed estate has seven bedrooms, eight and a half bedrooms, a tile-lined pool and tennis court, and was purchased by Priscilla in the 1970s to be close to her ex-husband Elvis Presley.

The estate is located behind a gated entrance and is nestled between lush trees providing privacy.

In a warm orange color, much of the home’s exterior is covered in sprawling ivy and also has a side of patio doors and windows.

Inside, the house features vaulted ceilings, with exposed dark wood beams and matching framed arcades.

Dark wood runs through the house, also showcased in the glass panes, carved pillars, and paneling in the library / den combination room.

The cream color of the walls complements the dark wooden floors and the white stone fireplace.

One of the seven bedrooms is the main suit which is attached to a large bathroom with double sinks and mirrors over a dark wood vanity, with velvet curtains providing cover for personal items.

Stone work lines the glass shower and the tub nestled under a window.

Next to the suite is a large balcony with red stone flooring, a wrought iron balustrade and a view of the courtyard and the pool.

Outside, short shrubs line the walkways with brick detailing in the driveway and walkways, as well as stairs leading from the indoor living space to the outside.

More wrought iron railings and an iron arch covered with ivy ensure the separation of the entrance to the domain and the private spaces.

For guests, a private suite is located above the garage.

Priscilla was married to Elvis from 1967 to 1973, before her death in 1977 she bought the house so that he could be close to their daughter Lisa Marie, now 52.

She opened up about the purchase and her longtime home while speaking to Closer in 2018.

“Elvis stayed in the Holmby Hills house that I found for us,” she says. “ We were very, very close and I wanted to make sure his house was close to our daughter, Lisa Marie.

“And it’s a bit isolated with the doors, so you can’t see inside. It was a sanctuary for me, ”she added.

In the listing, real estate agent Jonah Wilson writes, “Available for the first time in over 45 years, this private enclave is nestled on over an acre of leafy land within the city limits of Beverly Hills.”

As the door closes behind you, enter a secluded hideaway and leave the world behind.

“A veritable sanctuary offering privacy and isolation so rare today. The magnificent residence has been lovingly maintained by the current owner. Vaulted ceilings with beams and a flowing layout offer endless possibilities.

“Almost every room opens onto lush gardens, terraces and rolling lawns. Several large entertainment areas including a formal living room, dining room and library.

“Seven bedrooms in total including 3 downstairs and a maid’s room next to the kitchen. A separate guest suite above the garage has its own entrance.

“Upstairs, the splendid parental suite includes its baths and baths and a private terrace. A beautiful swimming pool and a lighted N / S tennis court complete the spectacular grounds, all totally private and secure in a superb location.
