Gal Gadot is preparing to end 2020 on a high note, releasing his superhero film “ Wonder Woman 1984 ” in theaters and simultaneously on a digital platform. While this recent announcement was a Christmas present for fans, another star who is also excited about the upcoming release is Priyanka Chopra, the Desi girl.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Priyanka shared Gal’s latest movie poster and showered her with praise in a note that read, “She’s a freak! Just like the woman who plays it! Get it @gal_gadot! It looks amazing! ”

Priyanka and Gal made headlines in 2019 when they gathered to pose for photos at a fashion show. The two stars were invited to Paris Fashion Week, where they turned heads with their stunning appearances.

Gal sparked fan and media interest in the upcoming film when she shared the new “ WW84 ” poster which saw her in her winged golden battle armor with her shining lasso of truth. Sharing the poster, Gal wrote, “This Christmas, Wonder is going to soar.”

“I can’t wait to share this with you!” she added.

The film, which initially contemplated an April 2020 release, has postponed its release more than twice due to theaters shutting down to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Reports even suggested the team was considering a release for 2021, as the COVID crisis continued to worsen across the world.

With the opening of the theater channels, the directors decided to release the film over the long holiday weekend.

Directed by Patty Jenkins, the film will see Gal returning as a demigod, joined by Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal.
