Actor and producer Priyanka Chopra Jonas (“The White Tiger”) and singer, songwriter and actor Nick Jonas will announce Oscar nominations in all 23 categories during a two-part live presentation on Monday, March 15, the Academy announced today.
This will be done via a global live broadcast on Oscars.com, Oscars.org and the Academy’s digital platforms – Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
Films such as “Nomadland” by Chloe Zhao, “The Trial of Chicago 7” by Aaron Sorkin and “Promising Young Woman” by Emerald Fennell are expected to receive numerous nominations from the Academy. In a year ravaged by a global pandemic, streamers and PVOD have come to the aid of consumers, with films debuting and released on multiple platforms.
