Priyanka Chopra says husband Nick thinks she will be the first ‘Jonas to win an Oscar’

Priyanka Chopra revealed in a podcast interview on Thursday that her husband Nick Jonas believes she will be the first in the family to win an Oscar.

The 38-year-old Indian actress admitted at the start of the Variety’s Awards Circuit podcast that everyone is still getting used to hearing ‘Jonas’ at the end of her last name.

“It’s hard, you know. It’s an addition to an identity that I’ve had for some 35 years, ” she said.

Priyanka and Nick, 28, have been married since 2018.

The actress was promoting her new movie The White Tiger, released last week on Netflix.

Priyanka stars in the drama and is also one of the executive producers.

The White Tiger is based on the 2008 novel of the same name by 46-year-old Aravind Adiga, which won the 2008 Man Booker Award.
